I'm doing a research paper in school on Malcolm X; so I was wondering: what if a white, middle-class male teenager thought he was the reincarnated Malcolm X?

Give me all the input you can, it would be appreciated.

Don't give up on the concept even if you don't want to use specific people. Just use archetypes instead. It could still be a comment on race/culture if you want it to.

I would start by doing some research on the subject of reincarnation, past life regression, hypnosis, EEG based biofeedback.

You have come up with an interesting overall premis.

Although it does not as such have to be someone well known to be a powerful story.
